If the first month of the year is an indicator of how the year will look like then it will e definetely under the sign of MEETINGS. So many and so diverse, with new and old faces, with new and old friends...

This was taken at a training when we were all tired :) God! Radu and I were really dead tired!

Then some action in CAERA where we were all realyly busy and involved in AE field.

I wonder now what will happen next!

My new passion

What is a Cocktail?
Drinks akin to cocktails first appeared sometime during the 16th century, but cocktails, as we know and use the term, was first introduced by American bartenders in he 1920ies.
The reason the cocktail made it big in the happy '20ies, was the prohibition, when producing and imbibing of alcohol was made illegal. As good as all spirits available was of a rather dubious quality and tasted accordingly. Thus, the bartenders, accommodating as always, started to mix the spirits with various fruit juices and other flavorings to make it more palatable. Later, the cocktail lost its popularity most places, the United States being the main exception.
The last few years, however, the cocktail has reclaimed lost ground everywhere, especially in southern Europe and other places that are full of tourists. Cocktails usually consist of three different 'classes' of ingredients.
• The first, the base, is most often some sort of spirit, like vodka, whiskey, or tequila. Occasionally, such as in many punches, some sort of wine is being used as a base.
• The second, the main flavoring, is added to bring out the aroma of the base and to modify its taste. The main flavoring is often such as Vermouth, various fruit juices, wine, or even eggs or cream.
• The third, the special flavoring, is added to enhance the taste of the base, and often also adds the color to the cocktail. Common special flavorings include Grenadine, Blue Curacao, and others.
Most cocktails are also decorated in some way, usually with fruit slices, orange peel, cocktail sticks, mint twigs, etc.

And a nice cocktail based on GIN:

Abbey Cocktail
• 1 1/2 oz Gin
• 1 dash Orange bitters
• Juice of 1/4 Orange
• 1 Cherry

Mixing instructions:
Shake all ingredients (except for the cherry) with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with the cherry and serve.

2006 Libra horoscope

Posted by Claudia Moser on 9:52 AM
Just curious what will really happen :)

Home and family will keep you happily content and quite busy as the year begins -- straight through mid-March, at least. And you'll enjoy more than a bit of excitement in the romance department too, whether you're single or attached. The past few years have demanded that you learn to live with all kinds of surprises, so at this point, you're prepared to handle just about anything -- surprising you will be no easy task. Still, a set of eclipses in March could coincide with a rather startling discovery: A partner you trusted just about implicitly may not be handling their end of a joint financial situation with integrity. If that's the case, immediately take back any credit cards you're even partially responsible for -- and the checkbook too. Regardless of your financial situation at that time, you need to watch your finances like a hawk -- and that goes double for late November and December.
Just to make things even more interesting, there may be a bit of mystery and intrigue in your life around those same times, and a secret relationship could even surface. That doesn't mean you'll necessarily be involved -- not directly, anyway -- but you'll certainly be privy to quite a few tasty details, like it or not. You may quickly decide that it's time to let all parties concerned know exactly what's been going on, but it will likely take a while for you to build up the resolve to talk about the situation. Just be sure to do what you'd want others to do for you. Tell the person who's confided in you that you don't feel comfortable keeping their secret, and give them the chance to clear the air first.
Even with all these serious situations brewing around you, you'll have nothing to worry about. A pack of humorous and sociable energies will arrive in time to make November and December -- not to mention much of early 2007 -- a happy, prosperous time for you. You definitely have some cleaning house to do this year, and some of it may not be fun. But your determination to make positive changes and meet your goals (no matter how tough it is) will propel you through the process. Once it's over -- and it will fly by -- you'll have made a giant step toward a positive future, starting with a solid approach to 2007.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
