What you plan is not what you always get

Posted by Claudia Moser on 1:34 PM in ,
So here I was, enjoying my cup of coffee, being at home with a cold and thinking well now I have nothing special to do except rest and maybe read a book when suddenly the work phone rang, one of my suppliers, asking me where am I? And then it did hit me, I did promise to be in a conf call despite my sickness. So after 4 hours of working I realised that no plan works that well! Life :)

Hope u having good time.

Life is not a map. You can create the map, but there will always be areas in life that don't follow the course.

If I had a dollar for every conference call I blew off :)

Hope you feel better soon!

@Izdiher - yes, this was just an event from a couple of weeks ago :)
@Jolie - that is true, and sometimes you should be grateful just for one direction!
@Rick - would you be rich? :)
@Luan - all OK now ;) thanks for caring!

Hope that you are now better Claudia.

I thought that you were away
did I read that you were going travelling
and would be away for 3 weeks
or am I dreaming it?

@Fiona - not dreaming, having posts planned ahead :) and I always have stories to tell right?

Yes you do Claudia
and lovely posts you have too!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
