Today's moment

Posted by Claudia Moser on 7:17 PM
A wonderful day, sunny, not so cold. So decided to walk with my husband in the park and to enjoy a nice coffee in our favourite place! While returning home, via the old town, we saw a dad on a bike, his daughter clinging on his foot (she was roller bladding but really scared) and his son skating in front. Nice scene under the autumn sun and then suddenly a small bike took the curve at full speed. His younger son was in charge and having lots of fun. The mom followed also not so secure on her skates. But you should have seen this young guy, not more than 4 years old, on his bike, ruling the street with a big smile. It just made my day! So full of energy, loving that particular moment, being alive. What a wonderful family! Thankful for being witness to this special moment ...

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
