Just in time

Fits perfectly my life. At the moment I am involved in a huge project with the ultimate goal of building plant in Estonia. One of the most challenging part of our work is to have all the needed material and equipment just in time, on the site.

Just in time? The theory says that this is a strategy for inventory management in which raw materials and components are delivered from the vendor or supplier immediately before they are needed in the manufacturing process.

Well guess what? We might have ordered in time, we might have triggered the purchasing in time, but the art is to get all of the items when they are needed.

My day to day battle. But you know what? I'm never bored :)

You always have such an upbeat attitude, Claudia, even with a big project like this. That is terrific.

Thank you Belle! I believe that an optimist has one good chance to win the battle :)

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
