Monday's special

Posted by Claudia Moser on 7:33 AM
Thought of open, a great word for the A to Z blogging challenge, but decided to dedicate it the Monday's special, namely quote day!

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
Abraham Lincoln

Knowledge of what is does not open the door directly to what should be.
Albert Einstein

If we open a quarrel between past and present, we shall find that we have lost the future.
Winston Churchill

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
Mark Twain
(simply great quote right?)

You cannot open a book without learning something.
Confucius
(one of my all time favourites)

HI Claudia. Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog. I absolutely love the Confucious quote. I love the whole idea of opening. For a long time, it was hard for me to receive good things. I had to learn to open myself up to receive.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
