A great pianist Lang Lang interpreting a classical piece from Chopin, simply lovely!

And also from Chopin, a cello solo

My mom used to play piano when I was a child. I loved listening to the classics. So beautiful.

@Belle - so did my grandmother! I am so happy to see her and mother today!

I had piano lessons from the age of 9 but, unfortunately, I don't play now. I have always loved piano music, especially romantic tunes. Chopin was very special. Hope you're having a good weekend and that you find time to do some relaxing!

@Diane -. wow, you must be very talented! I love piano music as well. And yes, weekend will be great, spend with the family

I played the cello in my youth and, in my mind, it has the most beautiful sound of all the instuments

@Cyndi great! Cello, that is an impressive instrument. Thank you for all of your comments, so sweet of you!

I love Chopin. I remember doing an essay on him in music class when I was an adolescent. Thanks for the links of his beautiful music.

@Catchats - gladly, love Choping as well!

Just popped by to say hope you're having a WONDERFUL weekend with your Mom & Gran :)

This Z-A project has gone SO QUICKLY! I'm sure a lot more so than the A-Z challenge :)

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
