Monday's special

Another challenge, another Monday, they do go along just fine!

Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they're supposed to help you discover who you are.
Bernice Johnson Reagon

Accept the challenges so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory.
General George S. Patton quotes

Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves come when life seems most challenging.
Joseph Campbell

Opposition is a natural part of life. Just as we develop our physical muscles through overcoming opposition - such as lifting weights - we develop our character muscles by overcoming challenges and adversity.
Stephen R. Covey

We choose to go...not because [it is] easy, but because [it is] hard, because that goal will serve to measure and organize the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win.
J.F. Kennedy

Great quotes to start the week with, Claudia. Thank you for sharing them with us. Hope everything goes well for you over the next few days!

As a teenager, President Kennedy was an inspiration to me. When he started Peace Corps I wanted to go. I loved his challenges to the nation. He made me want to do my best. Great quotes.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
