Xavier Naidoo, another artist which I would like to share with you. I discovered him in Germany, he has a very special kind of music and you either like it or simply ignore it. I chose the first option, but I admit that I am not a fan. Some of his songs are really pleasant, one example below
The title mean where do you want to go? I translated some of the lyrics
Where do you want to go Because it doesn't make any sense To walk away I hold you tight Search for you north, east south and west to beg you not to leave
You need the right mood to listen to his songs, but it is rather special and I wanted to share some German music too.
And the instrument? Easy to guess and no explanation needed for sure! Xylophone!
"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
