I gather that this was foreseable, lost and found quotes as a dedicated to this week's GBE2 word.

“Just think how happy you would be if you lost everything you have right now, and then got it back again.”
Frances Rodman

“I hold it true, whatever befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”
Lord Tennyson

"When my soul was in the lost-and-found. You came along to claim it."
Aretha Franklin

“We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

Love the quotes. "Better to have loved and lost..." I think that is true.

@Belle - I agree with you! :)

Thanks for these quotes, simply beautiful!

@Langley - I'm happy you like them!

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
