Monday's special

Posted by Claudia Moser on 8:27 AM in
This week's GBE2 challenge is a tough one, to have a post limited to only 100 words. By fullfilling the task I realised how meanigful words are, thus my Monday's special dedicated to them!

“One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.”
by James Earl Jones

“Love is shown in your deeds, not in your words.”
by Fr. Jerome Cummings

“When words are scarce they are seldom spent in vain”
by William Shakespeare

“In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
by Martin Luther King, Jr.

Words may show a man's wit, but actions his meaning”
by Benjamin Franklin

Words are only postage stamps delivering the object for you to unwrap”
by George Bernard Shaw

Words are only painted fire; a look is the fire itself”
by Mark Twain

and to finish with two lovely quotes

“In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart.”
by Mahatma Gandhi

Words are the voice of the heart”
by Confucius

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
