“Endure the present, and watch for better things.”
Virgil

“If God gives you a watch, are you honoring Him more by asking Him what time it is or by simply consulting the watch?”
A.    W. Tozer

“ Let this become your key - next time when anger comes, just watch it. Don't say, “I am angry.” Say, “Anger is there and I am watching it.” And see the difference! The difference is vast. Suddenly you are out of the grip of anger. If you can say, “I am just a watcher, I am not anger,” you are out of the grip.”
Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh

“Some people make things happen, some watch things happen, while others wonder what has happened”

Great quotes for us again on this cold Monday, Claudia! I like the one about the anger. I must remember that one!

I agree with Diane, the one about anger impressed me. I am always trying to learn about feelings and not letting them control me. I want to control them.

Dearest Claudia,
My favorite is the last one. Wish to be the someone who can make things happen. Oh, it might be hard to control the anger for me, p;)

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

Loving the last one also

I am so glad that my Monday special is so well appreciated

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
