I really should visit this part of the world! Every time I see photos I think that it would be lovely to spend a few days there!

OOOh, my home town! And this is my favourite place during summer, fish market, a lot of people, many ships in the harbour and that nice international feeling...thank you Claudia!

What a lovely photo of Helsinki, for your Wordless Wednesday post. That sky looks pretty threatening!

Dearest Claudia,
Beautiful picture of Helsinki, up north and kind of dark sky; really exotic place for me♡♡♡

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

@Miss B - summer in Helsinki is simply magical, I would recommend the mid summer season
@Sofia - I thought you might like it :) very nice city indeed!
@Diane - only appearances, it was rather calm weather
@Miyako - maybe one day you will come to Europe, OK?

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
