New adventure

Posted by Claudia Moser on 4:27 PM
This month seems to develop quite in an interesting manner. I have started with Denmark where I have visited the lovely capital and then I expected quite impatiently the visit to Spain - Zaragoza.

Why was I there? In order to have the CAERA meeting, the second project gathering, quite important for the implementation phase. The city is quite amazing, the home town of Trajan (a quite important Roman figure for Romania).

The meeting went well - at least I think so, and then I was ready to go to Poland to see Rzeszow

But to get there proved to be quite difficult:
1. Train from Zaragoza to Barcelona - quite comfortable, quite fast (4 hrs)
2. Train to the airport from Sants railway station - which proved to be quite a challenge. Why? Because after the advice of locals I got into the wrong train, which went like mad and stopped for the first time only after 30 km. So, I was frantic, I had 1 hour to get to the airport thus the obvious choice was a taxi, which I took and when I thought that I am on the right track, we had an accident. Nothing serious but an accident.
3. Change the taxi - paid 55 euros (I am quite horrified by this) got to the airpory 30 mins before the departure, got inside but then suprise: 1 hour and a half departure
4. Stress since the connection in Warsaw was tight - only 30 mins again, so no luck with the luggage, but it appears that it was the delay day. One more hour spend in Warsaw and after starting the day at 9 in a train I ended up in my room at 23. A long day, what an adventure!

Am I alive? Barley :) But can't say my life is boring can I?

HI Claudia!! I am fine you spent wonderful moments in my city (Zaragoza). I also think it was a fantastic meeting since good friends joined in it. I am so sorry about your "bad experience" in Barcelona.....But, think in positive: it is another way to do tourism :):).
Take care and see you soon.BEGO

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
