Christmas gifts

Posted by Claudia Moser on 2:28 PM
Sometime I wonder what will I remember from all the gifts ever received for Christmas. This year was kind of special since I had the chance to stay home with my family in Romania. It was an incredible gift which I will treasure for a long time. Nevertheless there are 2 things which are also marked in my head.

One amazing movie - How about you which allowed me to discover Christmas from another perspective and also to find an amazing composer, Satie. It is simply wow, just listen to Gnossienne No. 4 and you will understand.

And then Duffy with an incredible song called Delayed Devotion. Somehow for someone so young it is amazing what lyrics she can produce. For a peek try to listen to them - lyrics.

In the end Christmas is also about discoveries, sometimes about who we are, sometimes about waht is close to us, about who are actually our friends. I was lucky, 2008 Christmas showed me how special we all are. Thank you!

If you like Eric Satie - try "Three Gymnopodies" - some of my favourites!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
