Memory Lane

Posted by Claudia Moser on 11:05 AM
I found myself reading my older posts, in Romanian, and I realised that somehow by keeping this blog alive I somehow discover again and again how I felt at several stages in my life. It is indeed a nice walk on my own personal memory lane and yes, my blog contains snapshots of my thoughts, of my feelings, of my beliefs. A good reason to keep on writing :)

And the lyrics from Penny Lane

Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the blue suburban skies
I sit, and meanwhile back

fit quite well my mood now!

I have kept a few journals over the years, and I too like re-reading them to see how I've changed or how my circustances haved changed.

One thing I've noticed is that I am a happier person and a better wife to my poor husband. But then, he is better to me too. We have grown together and that is always nice.

Yes Belle I can understand what you mean, same here :)

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
