High & Low

Posted by Claudia Moser on 8:10 PM in

Another Wednesday, happily at home.

Highs
- To enjoy my husband's wonderful chicken curry, spice and with sweet potatoes, exactly my taste. Thank you!
- To see our dog's reaction when feeding her her favourite meal. Priceless!
- To go shopping with a friend

Lows
- To sit more than 30 minutes in a traffic congestion, not funny!
- To attend a very boring meeting, 3 hours lost

Well, it looks as if the highs outweighed the lows there!! That chicken curry sounds absolutely yummy!! Shopping with a friend - one of my favourite pastimes.

Your HIs are so lovely! (I forgot HI and LO again!) But I am old - that is a LO.

Why are business meetings so boring and nothing much gets accomplished? This is what my daughter says anyway.

Ah, long meetings where you contemplate slashing both wrists with a sharp hunting knife to keep from hearing another word.
How I miss those :)

@This is Me - yes, the curry was great
@Belle - don't know why the meetings are alöways boring but they are!
@Rick - I am not so close as of Slashing my wrists :)

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
