Monday's special

Since commitment was such a great inspiration for me I thought I should dedicate to it another post, so here we go!

“Stay committed to your decisions, but stay flexible in your approach.”
Tom Robbins

“Commitment unlocks the doors of imagination, allows vision, and gives us the "right stuff" to turn our dreams into reality.”
James Womack

“Desire is the key to motivation, but it's determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal - a commitment to excellence - that will enable you to attain the success you seek.”
Mario Andretti

“It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through.”
Zig Ziglar

“The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.”
Vince Lombardi

“We promise according to our hopes and perform according to our fears.”
François de la Rochefoucauld

“The relationship between commitment and doubt is by no means an antagonistic one. Commitment is healthiest when it's not without doubt but in spite of doubt.”
Dr. Rollo May

“People do not follow uncommitted leaders. Commitment can be displayed in a full range of matters to include the work hours you choose to maintain, how you work to improve your abilities, or what you do for your fellow workers at personal sacrifice. ”
Stephen Gregg

Some very good quotes, here! Thank you, Claudia. Have a wonderful day.

I like the one about hopes and fears. So true!!

I am loving your new blog look. Who designed it?

Very thought provoking...I'm going to be pondering my commitment to some of these ideals today!

Hugs~

As always, you;ve come up with some great quotes for us today Claudia. Hope you have a good week, with not too much travelling!

I think this one is great.

Thanks Claudia.

Another vote for Tom Robbins. Sometimes the decision gets abandoned because the approach is wrong. I'll have to remember this.

@Desiree - you too!
@Michelle - I just found it on line! The author is at the bottom page
@Sush - let me know which result you reached!
@Diane - no travelling at all this week, yeah!
@Fiona - a good one indeed!
@Sarah - true!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
