Gifts

Posted by Claudia Moser on 8:41 PM in , ,
With less than a month ahead I should most likely start thinking of my wish list, some ideas ...

for my passion for shoes

for my passion for cooking

to continue my collection

to get my dream dress

for a new destination on my map

But the more I think the more I realise that no material items will bring the real joy! I just wish that the love I get from my husband, mother, family, the support and understanding from my friends, the cheering up from my blogging friends will keep flowing. And that will make my birthday just perfect. And hey, if I get some flowers I will be extremely happy.

P.S. This entry is dedicated to this week's McBloggery Theme, Gifts.

The good thing about those gifts you really want is you get them every day of the year :-)

@Sarah - true! You are right!

Hi Claudia. Some lovely things on your wish list there my friend, but, as you so rightly say, it's not always the material things that bring us joy, but rather the love of our family and the gift of friendship.

Love this post Claudia.

It is great that you have such a good outlook on life and realise the things that are important like family.

I agree with you totally
but it would be nice to get your dream dress too!

Hope Peter is well.

I send you many flowers on our blog!!

You cannot be having a birthday and not divulge the actual date, so we are well prepared to wish you a happy day when it arrives!

I hope Peter is doing very much better in the company of your kind friends until you return home from your trip.

@Fiona - I would love the dress as well, maybe I'll get this year. Thank you, Peter is doing better!
@Michael - true, your posts are full of amazing flowers!
@Desiree - I will divulge it no worries :) Peter is fine, sitting next to me, dear one!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
