Take me to the movies

Posted by Claudia Moser on 9:03 AM in , , ,
Last evening Peter showed me this picture:

it made me smile and I thought immediately of Madagascar, the movie. Do you remember the penguins with smile and wave?

and then I found this

Somehow this movie always makes me smile, it is so funny and somehow suitable for a foggy grey day and a lingering cold just around the corner. I hope you all have a great Friday!

My kids loved this movie--but I haven't watched it all the way through yet--seems I can get stuff done around the house when they are watching movies. I need to sit myself down and watch this one all the way through!!

Thanks for hopping along!! Cheers, Jenn.

That first one is funny.
I have to let the videos load all the way to watch them (slowish internet). I've never seen Madagascar. Maybe I'll have to put it on my list!

Hi Claudia. Loved the photo of the wire-less birds!! I adore penguins, and the Madagascar films were brilliant. I feel that I've got a cold coming on as well, as my throat is really sort, and it always starts like that :( Have a lovely weekend my friend.

I love that first picture :-)
We love that film in this house. 'Smile and wave' is a catchphrase around here :-)

@Jenn - you will for sure enjoy it, I still can re-watch it at times!
@Laura - I thought so, and do let me know if you will watch it :)
@Diane - do take care, I did try with a spicy stew and I feel a bit better!
@Sarah - im mine too :) Smile & wave!

That's one disadvantage of kids growing up, you no longer see these cute little films.

@Joyce - I am still a kid :)

Thanks for making me smile :)

I love that cartoon. Wireless technology makes me think of all these beams passing through our bodies all day! We have wireless in our own home. I don't worry about it though.

@Luan - a smile is all I want :)
@Belle - so true! But you are right, we should not worry!

Sweet choice.

@Langley - thank you :)

I totally love these guys! Don't care how old I am (LOL)! I just think that some of the cartoon movies are better than the other stuff that is being produced lately!

@Susan - this was indeed a brilliant movie :) and no matter the age a laugh is always good!

I love Madagascar and it is a real favorite at my house. My kids love this. We even have the game on Playstation 2, and I love taking things out with Gloria's butt bounce move! LOL Great post! Love it!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
