Nature vs Nurture

Motto:
"[Nature and nurture are] a convenient jingle of words, for it separates under two distinct heads the innumerable elements of which personality is composed. Nature is all that a man brings with himself into the world; nurture is every influence that affects him after his birth."
by Charles Darwin

As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote that "...man is a bundle of relations, a knot of roots,
whose flower and fruitage is the world. His faculties refer to natures out of him, and predict the world he is to inhabit, as the fins of the fish foreshow that water exists, or the wings of an eagle in the egg presuppose air. He cannot live without a world.", I also believe that the world around us influences our view on life and our choices.

For me autumn is a pure joy, the mix of colours and textures is inspiring. I love the anbundancy, the smells, the way light plays in the forest. I truly come to life in autumn, I live intensly during the day enjoying the sun. I create many dishes, mostly with the autumnal products, like beetroot and berries.

Today was a gift, a perfect sunny day, with high temperatures, great company. Under the influence of nature I enjoyed autumn, pure and simple.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
