Monday's special

Since I believe you already know by now that I am passionate about cooking, here are some of my favourite quotes:

Hunger is the best sauce in the world.

Strange to see how a good dinner and
feasting reconciles everybody.
Samuel Pepys

A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.
Walter Savage Landor

Kissing don't last: cookery do.
George Meredith

Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.
Harriet Van Horne

Savory seasonings stimulate the appetite.
Latin Proverb

I used to love cooking, but now I far prefer eating food others have prepared. I'll be your guinea pig anytime ;) I love the quotes you've shared. Take a peek at The Squashed Tomatoes new post for some yummy foodie pics. Hope you have a really good day! Big hug xoxo

I love food but I'm a terrible cook. I prefer to leave special dishes to those who enjoy the creation :-)

It is a saying that "the perfect food would taste as good as fresh popcorn smells."
Keep enjoying your cooking and don't forget to share this with us too.
Nice post as usual.

I love good food but hate cooking. Oh well!

We've missed the blogging world! It's no excuse but life has been WAY too busy lately. We hope to keep up with the blogging more lately though!

For someone who also has a love for cooking, these quotes are absolutely perfect!!

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
