V - Vent. Visualise your dreams.

Let me not mar that perfect Dream
by Emily Dickinson
Let me not mar that perfect Dream
By an Auroral stain
But so adjust my daily Night
That it will come again.

Not when we know,
the Power accosts --
The Garment of Surprise
Was all our timid Mother wore At Home
-- in Paradise.

That's lovely Claudia.

Ah, that "perfect dream". Such a lovely piece by Emily Post. Just beautiful...

@Lynn - thank you!

@Amy - it is a beautiful poem, you are right!

Love dreaming and visualizing what I'd like to see happen.

Venting is easy, visualising is harder! Lovely poem - don't think I've read it before.

@Lynn - thank you
@Beverly - so agree with you
@LindaK - that is true, visualising is hard!

Hi Claudia! Great quote.

@Susanne - glad you enjoyed it!

I must be the odd ball. (You knew that? humph)
I visualize all the time. I 'see' what I want or hope will be and then visualize what I might do to make it happen.

@Jo - you are not the odd ball, you are you :))) and grat that you can visualize what yiu want!

I love that idea of reaching for your dreams and they will reach for you.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
