This morning's gift
Woke up this morning and the whole city was covered with snow, winter at its best. The magic around you makes you want to bake, knit, sip hot chocolate and cuddle under a fluffy blanket. So I guess you know my plan for today, might add a walk in the park to add some colour in my cheeks and earn the chocolate treat! Happy Sunday!

Monday's special
“To appreciate the beauty of a snow flake, it is necessary to stand out in the cold.”
Anonymous
“Sunshine cannot bleach the snow, Nor time unmake what poets know”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
“When Christmas bells are swinging above the fields of snow, we hear sweet voices ringing from lands of long ago, and etched on vacant places are half-forgotten faces of friends we used to cherish, and loves we used to know.”
Ella Wheeler Wilcox
“Snow and adolescence are the only problems that disappear if you ignore them long enough.”
Earl Wilson
“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.”
John Ruskin

Motto
"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
