Monday's special

And yes! King's Speech did win 4 Oscars out of 12 nominations and I believe that it well deserves the best movie and the best actor awards, so happy for the team.

And since I hoped that this will happen, today's quotes are having as a theme: predictions.

Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future.
Niels Bohr
(quite logical right?)

You can only predict things after they've happened.
Eugen Ionesco
(Romanian born author btw!)

No one can possibly know what is about to happen: it is happening, each time, for the first time, for the only time.
James Baldwin

Enjoy the week!

Love the quotes! My whole family was cheering when Colin Firth won best actor. We have loved him for a long time. A great actor.

I love Colin, so glad he got the prize! How's your book reading coming along?

So 3 ladies happy for Colin :) great! The book is progressing pretty well, I have it with me in Estonia, it needs time. Somehow you cannot swallow it, you know what I mean Jilda?

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
