An unsual day

Posted by Claudia Moser on 8:19 PM
How do you say good bye to someone who is not present anymore? Today I went to a funeral, in order to present my condoleances and also the ones from my team. Heinz is gone, he is resting now anonymously on a lovely lawn, and I hope that he has found his peace.

It was a strange day, 500 km on the road, with many construction sites, followed by meetings at work where I couldn't focus much. I guess that I wan't ever so quiet as today, simply listening and not giving much input. I was sad, that is true.

In the evening, Peter suggested to go together for a coffee, which helped, sitting on terasse and making a closure. I listen to him now playing guitar and it feels safe. Life is so precious and we should enjoy each moment we have.

Rest in peace Heinz!

Always a sad time Claudia, when we have to go to funerals. I am sure Heinz would have appreciated you being there. May he rest in peace and rise in glory, and may light perpetual shine upon him. Times like this really do bring it home to us just how fragile life is.

I'm sorry, Claudia, for all who will miss him. Life can be so sad sometimes. May God comfort all who knew him.

Yes it is hard, thank you for your support. The hardest was for his family. Life must be enjoyed indeed!

We should indeed, Claudia. Isn't it sad though that sometimes we only remember this with someones passing?

You are posing the right question Gawgus! I don't know either

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
