Tasty Tuesday - Egg bread

Posted by Claudia Moser on 6:30 AM in

This is my childhood memory, egg bread with cheese. It is so easy to make: whisk 1 full egg, add a bit of salt and pepper, dip half of toasts at the time and fry it briefly until golden. At the end, add some cheese on top (I usually use feta cheese).

The taste is amazing, the memories it brings timeless!

Bon appetit!

good for a light breakfast and so easy to prepare

My husband loves French toast which is similar, but this seems much easier!

@Tariq - that is true!
@Desiree - I also love that, but in the end as you say much more complicated!

Sounds so easy and looks so yummy!

I love eggy bread - but I've never tried it with cheese, thanks :-)

@Luan - it is indeed!
@Sarah - let me know if you like it!

Those were days .I also love eggs and bread but don't eat them much,now .

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
