Autumn Leaves
Wynton Marsalis at its best
Eric Clapton, great voice
Chet Baker's approach
Simple jazzy
Another trio
and the original
Hi Claudia. I agree with Karen - it's lovely to hear that beautiful song in so many different ways. I have always loved the original, and I'm a sucker for Eric Clapton too! Hope your weekend is going well my friend.
All are good, but there's just something about Clapton's music and voice. Thanks for the music lesson! Hugs.
I like Eric Clapton and Yves Montand's version the best, but then I'm not big on jazz. I really enjoyed this.
@Kathy - yes, Peter did take time to explain me the different ways of making music!
@Diane - Eric Clapton was my favourite as well.
@Barb - one shown by Peter to me and then I could not wait to share it with you.
@Belle - jazz starts to inspire me!
@Eva - glad you like it!
Claudia I have the Wynton Marsalis version along with one by Andrea Bocelli that is really beautiful... Gorgeous song in any rendition!
Hugs~
