BlogFest 2012 Day 10 - Picture Prompt

Posted by Claudia Moser on 12:39 PM in ,

Daphne challenged us with this picture and also with this text 'he photo is of a young boy, looking out at the ocean.... what are you inspired to write about? it can be a story, or some memory you might have.. or maybe he's thinking about becoming an oceanography? maybe there's a sadness, or is he happy?'

My first thoughts were linked with the fact that he has no shoes, he walked barefooted on the beach, and this gives me a hint that he is enjoying the sun, the sand, the water and the freedom. To be honest I would love to join him, what about you?

I haven't been to the beach in ages, lets go!

I was at the beach last weekend. There's something very special about a deserted beach too - so relaxing.

Dearest Claudia,
Oh, I reminisce that my father took us to the beach sometimes when little♬♬♬ Love the way color of the beach changes(*^_^*)
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

I love the beach

I love the beach too and wish I could stand alongside him in the sand and watch the waves crash in and out.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
