Interestingly, we had a family in New Orleans that owned a POSH hotel in the Garden District by that very same name. It was a favorite hotel to go to when I was growing up for luncheons and teas!

Hope the weather is better for you dear one and your ankle is doing fine!

This photo has a dreamy quality. It is really wonderful.

So lovely and inviting.

great photo!

great photo

Very atmospheric photo - love it.

Dearest Claudia,
Really exotic for me and love the coloring♬♬♬

What a wonderful picture! I like the fine lines of the trees and the milky light over the water behind them.
Have a good day!

Thank you for your kind words, this picture was taken on a late August afternoon, misty and with a very special light!

Such a gorgeous photo! Feels medieval ^_^

@Talitha- it does feel medieval, indeed!

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
