Another challenge

As you know I am taking part in the Blogging for Fun group and this week the theme is dedicated to the 4th of July, the USA national day.
The theme is based on the Lee Greenwood's song, God bless the USA.
Not being an American I cannot comment on the topic, but I thought I'll leave some of its finest to do so.
Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die. ~Dwight D. Eisenhower
