Tasty Tuesday - Parmezan Crackers

Posted by Claudia Moser on 6:05 AM in ,

If one afternoon you wonder what would suit a hot chicken soup then the answer lies here - parmezan crackers, the recipe is to be found here, I only replaced the poppy seeds with oregano and thymian.

The ingredients to give you a taste:

300g plain flour

2tsp baking powder

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 tsp onion salt

115g butter

2 tbsps vegetable/sunflower oil

2 tbsps oregano & thymian

130ml water

30g parmesan cheese

Enjoy!

What a great idea these sound.

I love parmesan, so will definitely be trying these. They look scrummy. I've never heard of onion salt, but I'm sure they will have it in the supermarket. Probably because I've never needed it before. I like your little recipe posts!

Sounds so good.

Yum-ME. Those look great.

Hmmm nothing says lovin like something from the oven!
Hugs~

@Taylor - they were, I should bake them again!
@Sarah - the simplest ideas are usually the best!
@Diane - thank you, I do try to make them diverse.
@Luan - they are, trust me!
@Rick - hello there!
@Sush - so true!

Mmmm! That would be so delicious with chicken soup! Or I'm thinking with tomato soup it would be really good too!

Thanks for the yummy instructions!

They look yummy, but I will have to find a recipe using cups and measuring spoons. I have no idea how to measure in grams or how to convert...

@Carissa - I am sure it works fine with tomato soup as well!
@Darlene - you could google it, I am sure you find a converter!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
