M - Alice Munro
This lady is among my top 3 favourite authors ever, she is simply amazing, her short stories are so well written, in my eyes it is harder to write a short story than a novel but with her work you never feel like you miss something. Her stories are round, at the end you have this amazing feeling that you either learned something or that you have discovered a new direction which brings you joy.
Alice Munro is a Canadian short-story writer, the winner of the 2009 Man Booker International Prize for her lifetime body of work, a three-time winner of Canada's Governor General's Award for fiction, and a perennial contender for the Nobel Prize.
As you might have noticed my blog has one of her quotes always on the screen, she is very dear to me and when as an author you receive following reviews (for Too Much Happiness), you know you are succesful:
