And to end this lovely October event,
Angie mentioned the following prompt:
'I am taking you all to embark on a Journey of Life, where each of you would share One Moment in Your Life.'

Food
Oh
Daphne, and what am I suppose to answer to this?
'Fess up. We all know we have a dark secret concerning a weird food we just LOVE to eat. What's your and how did it develop?'
To be honest my open secret is coffee, I simply love the taste and I guess it does qualify as food, doesn't it?
But I should explore further tastes, I will most likely end up with the aroma of liver steak, one meal which I cannot eat on a regular basis since my husband does not enjoy the smell. Not everyone's meal, but I enjoy the buttery taste so much!

Halloween
Kathi challenged us to share our favourite Halloween memory, but unfortunately I cannot do that since in Europe we do not celebrate this. But to compensate, what do you think of this lovely costumes?

Jo again, with one perfect idea, The Best Day in My Life, and this one is so easy ... It happen almost 5 years ago, when I married and became a Mrs. Wonderful moment, knowing that I will spend my life with the one who will always be my other half.

Stuart had an unusual theme ready for us, namely creeping obesity and to be honest it is the first which I cannot tackle, no idea where to go ... sorry Stuart! Except my advice: eat healthy!

Value
Emily came up with a wonderful idea, and asked us what do we value and this reminded me of one lovely blog, where I found this
value tree and also some inspiration for my crafts

Judge a Book By It's Cover?
Judge a Book By It's Cover? is
Paula's prompt, one great presenter of English treasures and one of my dearest followers (thanks!) And this reminded me of an interesting
article from August 2012, rather puzzling but does make you think what a book may be worth. Enjoy!

People pleaser
Linda asked one deep question, namely:
"Do you sometimes put your true-self on the back burner to conform to others or to a situation, and how does that make you feel?"
Am I people pleaser? Sometimes I must admit I am, I do care on my influence on others, I do like to see people happy, so I adjust my reactions from time to time, but one thing is clear, my inner self remains the same, it does not help to alter your own personality just to get along with everyone.
But one thing is for sure, I am not the positive force :)

Jessie puzzled me, what am I supposed to write now? I am at peace with the past, I am looking forward to the future. And now?

Nicole challenges us with a scary moment, asked us to describe or show a scene from a book, movie, or television show (or all three!) that scared you the most. My response is the following trailer, no need to explain right?

Shadows
Leigh's prompt is simple but yet puzzling, shadows. Since it is a rather grey damp day (where is my golden October gone?) I remember the nice walks on the beach in Estonia during the summer evenings, below a picture which simply bring back the shadows of old memories.

Picture
Daphne challenged us with this picture
and also with this text 'he photo is of a young boy, looking out at the ocean.... what
are you inspired to write about? it can be a story, or some memory you might
have.. or maybe he's thinking about becoming an oceanography? maybe there's a
sadness, or is he happy?'
My first thoughts were linked with the fact that he has no shoes, he walked barefooted on the beach, and this gives me a hint that he is enjoying the sun, the sand, the water and the freedom. To be honest I would love to join him, what about you?

Flight,
Technology,
travel
Kate has an interesting topic today, and since I do my share of travelling (there are some months when I am on the road / air each week) I believe that the most obvious answer to this is the plane, one piece of technology which makes our life so easier, you check in, board, take a nap and here you are, Kolkata.
I am sure most of you have enjoyed Jules Verne's 80 days around the world, and imagine how complicated it was to travel. But I must admit, it has its charm as well, speed is not always positive, sometimes you need to slow down and appreciate what surrounds you.
Something to make you smile:

Coldplay,
Rule the World
For sure only
Jo could challenge us with such a prompt, this lady has always some tricks in her bag, by the way do follow her and you will get some great pieces of writing, trust me!
But I digress, now let me transpose myself in the world ruler, but please be aware that you will be dissapointed, since my idea is rather simple - I just wish peace on earth, understanding, freedom of speech. I simply hope that one day this dream will come true and we will find the way to find satisfaction in the simple things.
At the end do listen to Coldplay's Viva la Vida, with some powerful suiting words:
I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

Paris
Kelly had a lovely question, which reminded me of Paris and the Seine banks and also of Le Chat Noir.
I associate this picture with the capital of France, with its flavours and lovely impressions. Somehow I smell autumn in my nostrils while walking under the October sun on the street of Montparnasse, can you feel it too?
What about you? How do you feel about cats, black cats, superstitions?

Motto
"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
by Alice Munro
