High & Low

Posted by Claudia Moser on 6:32 PM in

A wonderful Wednesday, with a new sequence of High & Low. All I can say today, is that I am happy, I am on holiday, I went shopping with mom and granny, cooked a great meal and I see absolutely no reason to register a low for the day. So this indeed a high day!

As I go through all kinds of feelings and experiences in my journey through life -- delight, surprise, chagrin, dismay -- I hold this question as a guiding light: "What do I really need right now to be happy?" What I come to over and over again is that only qualities as vast and deep as love, connection and kindness will really make me happy in any sort of enduring way.
as per Sharon Salzberg

And all I feel today is love, connection and kindness! Send it all to you, my readers!

Thank you Claudia. I can feel all that love, connection and kindess coming my way. Wonderful!! How can you have a low in the day when you are on holiday and your mum and granny are there with you. Enjoy your time with them my friend.

What a wonderfully uplifting post, Claudia. I can feel your love all the way over here & I'm so happy knowing you're having such a wonderful time with your family. With such a lovely philosophy and outlook, you should find life brings many blessings your way.

Glad you are having such a wonderful visit. There doesn't need to be lows in life, that's for sure.

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
