Monday's special

There are two seasons in Scotland: June and Winter.
Billy Connolly

Occasionally I have come across a last patch of snow on top of a mountain in late May or June. There's something very powerful about finding snow in summer.
Andy Goldsworthy

There are moments, above all on June evenings, when the lakes that hold our moons are sucked into the earth, and nothing is left but wine and the touch of a hand.
Charles Morgan

Summer is a promissory note signed in June, its long days spent and gone before you know it, and due to be repaid next January.

I'm glad it appears you've had some sunshine return to your world! Sounds like you've been busy as always! Where you off to next?
Much love and many hugs~

All great quotes. Summer will be over all too soon!

I like that Scotland quote

When I lived in Alberta, Canada it seemed there were three seasons: July, August and winter. I live in a much warmer part of the country now.

Dearest Claudia,
Lovely quotes for June. From the Scotland quote, made me wonder how is the weather there all year around♡♡♡

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

and Happy June!!!

Thank god summer has arrived here but we have to devour every little drop as it could disappear at any moment

Wonderful quotes and true, too.

You have some great quotes here - but I really agree with Billy Connolly's one - it's very true. We were just watching him the other night on the telly - he is a very funny man!!

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
