On the way to Tallinn

Posted by Claudia Moser on 9:47 PM
My first business trip to Estonia, Tallinn this time.

And the lesson of the day is: you can always find something positive even within not so nice happenings.

Plane delayed 1 hour due to fresh snow in Frankfurt. Positive: more time to read Hotel Pastis by Peter Mayle. Worth reading!

Hotel booked at Radisson Blu, not at our usual place (my personal recommendation: Meriton Conference and Spa) and despite having a nice room I was astouned by the strange smell inside. The reason behind: old ham and cheese in the fridge :( I left for dinner with the hope that the smell will dissapear after the removal performed by the cleaning lady. Positive: more time for dinner - a nice Nicoise salad, fusili with scampi, an espresso and less smell upon my return so now I can start to rest.

So don't take life too serious, there is always a reason to smile :)

Smile and wave a.k.a. Madagascar :)))

I hope your business meetings go well. Have a nice visit!

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
