High & Low

Posted by Claudia Moser on 9:04 PM

Wednesday. Estonia. Work. Stress. Frustration. Tiredness. So many lows but I decided to focus on a wonderful side of the day.

TODAY IS INTERNATIONAL KISSING DAY! LOL

Picture from here

6 July 2011 is International Kissing Day or World Kiss Day. The idea behind the International Kissing Day is that many people may have forgotten the simple pleasures associated with kissing for kissing's sake, as opposed to kissing as mere social formality or prelude to other activities. Kissing can be an enjoyable experience in and of itself. It is an expression and experience of intimacy. International Kissing Day is not as commercialized as Valentine's Day.

So enjoy the company of your loved one and smile!

Does this mean I get to kiss the mailman? No, I guess not. I'll kiss my old, beat-up hubby when he gets home. :)

My friend told me it was National Fried Chicken Day or something crazy like that. . . not as cool as International Kissing Day, though. ;)

The only people around me are the alien neighbors...Sorry, no kissing them EVER! EWWWWW. Guess it's just Bruce.

@Madeline - I guess my choice was better, agreed :)
@Barb - I'm sure Bruce will do :)))

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
