This week's GBE2 theme made me think of playing just a little bit with music, so here we go with some titles that do have the word dance in their titles, but at the same time, some songs which made me move my body no matter what! Happy Sunday!

Wow, what a selection of dance songs!

I just love Sting's "When We Dance". That was my favorite out of your selections. Although, I did enjoy them all! Thanks for making me think of dancing!

I had a bit of a shake to Murder on the Dancefloor :-)

@Laura - Sting is always my favorite :) dancing is a wonderful thing right?
@Sarah - glad you did :)

Love these songs!

Love, love, love "Murder on the Dancefloor"

I've got the Genesis song stuck in my head now. :O)

Wow, that was when Phil Collins had hair :)

Great sons, my favourite is Whitney's.

Hi, visited today and read yesterday's also. I am happy where I am and with who I am. You are correct in saying that it is our own decision as to whether we will be happy or not. I love country music, romantic music, bluegrass music, and some jazz.

I loved these videos.

This one was missing in your collection:

@Dances with Vodka - me too, love the rhythm!
@Luan - I know how you feel :)
@Beth - sorry :)
@Rick - don't be jealous :)
@Paula - she had an amazing voice didn't she?
@Grammy - your music choices very similar to mine I must admit! Country music, that is an idea for a next post, thanks!
@Weissdorn - I know, you are right, it does fit the collection :)

I wanna dance with somebody, with somebody who loves me! Love it love it ♥

My Mom liked that song , I think by Trish Yearwood, that went " If you have the chance to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance"
It always reminds me of her and to 'dance like no one's watching'. She do that!!!

I love that Whitney Houston song dancing with somebody who loves me!!

@Jo - true, it is a nice song!
@Kathy - that is a good advice, dance like no one's watching!
@Kathy - so is it!

There he is again-- Phill Collins-- and now Sting and Whitney!! Claudia-- do you have my missing Ipod? LOLOL. Just kidding--it is right here :)

Cheers, Jenn

@Jenn - no I did not take your Ipod, honest :) but hey we do have the same taste!

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
