I just woke up this morning and while reading several celebration announcement, I realised that my blog also has reached an important milestone, 6 years of existance and a little surprise on top: more than 80.000 hits! I am humbled by the 259 followers which read my stories constantly, thank you.

While looking at my blog's trend a pattern was identifiable, April and October seem to be the peak months. For April the explanation is clear, the A toZ Challenge which brings more readers. For October I don't really know, probably the weather ^_^

The last A to Z Challenge brought me 6 more followers, lots of hits and a dear theme to me: famous female authors, and I must say I am surprised on how many appreciative comments I got, the theme was rather well taken. Thank you! Plus while reading my fellowers challenge entries I came up with a new idea for next year, my fourth in a row, yes I am determined to continue.

But now back to my personal achievement! I would like to share my happiness with you all, and since my last challenge had as theme writing you might guess what I will do right? Start a giveaway :)

My best friend Monica is a singer and if I may say so, a good one! She is passionate about her music and in December 2011 she fullfilled one of her dreams - she had her first concert! And at the same time, together with her bandmate she released the All in green album, which brings me to this giveaway idea. I do hope that you like their music, it could be found here.

Dear readers, our holiday found its end, nevertheless it was a great week, with lovely weather, good food and a well-deserved relaxation for both. But to be honest I did miss writing, it became such a big part of my life, so it did not take much to find my place in my favourite armchair and start thinking of what to share with you next.

On a weekly basis, for some weeks ahead, on Wednesday, I will post our holiday best photos, so stay tuned :)

And since I fell in love with Lanzarote and its amazing art mostly due to Cezar Manrique, I thought that you would join in for a special giveway. I bought these earings from the shop located in Cezar Manrique's house and they are based on his design. They are special to me, since they remind me of a wonderful day and I would love to give them to someone who would like to have a small memento from this gorgeous island.
