“Chocolate, men, coffee - some things are better rich”

“Actually, this seems to be the basic need of the human heart in nearly every great crisis - a good hot cup of coffee.”
Alexander King

“A cup of coffee - real coffee - home-browned, home ground, home made, that comes to you dark as a hazel-eye, but changes to a golden bronze as you temper it with cream that never cheated, but was real cream from its birth, thick, tenderly yellow, perfectly sweet, neither lumpy nor frothing on the Java: such a cup of coffee is a match for twenty blue devils and will exorcise them all.”
Henry Ward Beecher

“Men should be like coffee, hot sweet and strong”
Dutch Proverb

“Behind every successful woman is a substantial amount of coffee
Stephanie Pi (how I agree!!! LOL)

Coffee should be black as Hell, strong as death, and sweet as love”
Turkish Proverb

Coffee and love are best when they are hot”
German Proverb

I had a chuckle at the first quote :) now I am heading to the kitchen to make myself a good cup of coffee! Enjoy your day and I do so hope you are feeling very much better xo

Hi claudia I have posted your guest post on my blog today. I am so sorry it took so long. I hope you like it :)

I love that first quote! Coffee isn't something I drink very often at all - and I certainly can't after 3pm if I want to sleep that night :)

Enjoyed reading this while finishing up my morning cup of coffee!

As a die hard coffee drinker (black and no sugar) I particularly love the first one. However, they are all brilliant! Where would I be without my coffee? Sipping it as I type!! Hugs.

Hi Claudia. Hope you are feeling much better today. I'm like Gawgus, and don't drink coffee very much at all, but I still enjoyed the quotes!

I rarely drink coffee but every now and then I just have to grab a cup :-)

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
