Morning smile

Posted by Claudia Moser on 8:24 AM
Just realised that I am smiling. Really! I had little events which made me smile:

- The sun is shining, no rain for a while, so I can enjoy the light

- The bus driver tried to miss a green light and because the traffic lights were stubborn in keeping the colour, ended up crossing on orange

- A father was desperate to catch a bus, so his 5 year old son was picked up and there he goes. The kid starts laughing and shouts: 'Faster, daddy, faster!' A future manager I guess!

- One of the sweetest colleague had birthday, she loved the gift I found for her!

- Music cheers me up, today was Duffy on the line

- I realised that yesterday I learned a good lesson, I diverted my phone to the secretary and silence ruled my office! Guess what am I doing today?

Motto

"A story is not like a road to follow … it's more like a house. You go inside and stay there for a while, wandering back and forth and settling where you like and discovering how the room and corridors relate to each other, how the world outside is altered by being viewed from these windows. And you, the visitor, the reader, are altered as well by being in this enclosed space, whether it is ample and easy or full of crooked turns, or sparsely or opulently furnished. You can go back again and again, and the house, the story, always contains more than you saw the last time. It also has a sturdy sense of itself of being built out of its own necessity, not just to shelter or beguile you."
